1) Draw a tree diagram that shows the flow of raw materials as they are built into a finished product
You can draw by hand or use software to create your diagram
2) Include a title, your name and date on your diagram
3) Choose one of the following finished products:
Automobile – electric
Automobile – internal combustion engine
Airplane – "traditional" aluminum aircraft
Airplane – "newer" composite based airplane
Cell Phone
Computer
Smart television
4) Guidance Notes:
Expectation is that you have at least 6 sub-components and have 5 levels of depth
You can draw by hand and scan in or use software to create your document(s)
Use Engineering Drawing/Blueprint standards for lettering, title blocks and borders
Instructions:
Hard copies of your work are due at the beginning of the next in-person class
For online courses, or if instructed by your professor, the entire assignment must be assembled or complied into document that you submit to the appropriate eConestoga Assignment Folder
Scan or take pictures of your work
Compile them with any typed pages you have used into a single Word Document or PDF file
File naming Convention: "OPER2225-Assignment 5-name-date"
There must be a footer in the document that has the file name and the page number in the following format: "pg. __ of __"
Submit the single document into the Assignment 5 Folder in eConestoga
Late submissions will receive a grade of zero (0) unless arrangements have been made and accepted by the instructor prior to the submission deadline
