Documented MI less than 6 months prior to dental appointment where the degree of myocardial damage is minimal
a) The patient is at high risk, and dental treatment should be postponed for at least a year.
b) The patient may proceed with dental treatment after consultation with a cardiologist.
c) Dental treatment can be conducted without any special considerations.
d) The patient should receive immediate emergency dental care due to the recent MI.
