Forensics day 4 blood analysis
Blood typing worksheet
Crime Scenario=A team of crime investigators were called to the scene of a burglary. Late last night someone broke into a jewelry store. When they arrived, the investigators noticed that several of the glass display cases were smashed. Glass was scattered throughout the store. Stuck to the glass fragments were small pieces of blood-stained clothing. The pieces of clothing material were carefully collected and sent to the forensic lab for analysis. Later, investigators reviewed all of the evidence. They apprehended two suspects. One of the suspects had A+ blood type and the other suspect had O+.
Your job as a forensic scientist is to provide investigators with additional data. This will help to determine which of the suspects may have committed the crime. You will type the blood sample found at the crime scene and compare it with the blood samples drawn from the two suspects.
