There are likely to be many differences between neighborhoods with and without schools that might lead to differences in attitudes about contraceptive use. One example presented in the chapter is that parents of girls living close to a school may be more highly educated than parents in neighborhoods without a school, and highly educated parents influence their children to use contraceptives when they grow up. Offer one other explanation for why living in neighborhoods with and without schools could lead to differences in contraceptive use.
