McClelland offers a lot of evidence for his own views, but he does not say much

about any other viewpoints. What objections might be raised to what he says, and where would you introduce them in his essay? How would doing so improve his argument?

By not bringing up other viewpoints, his essay is way better to argue against. By bringing up other viewpoints, he can make his essay better by disproving those viewpoints. From how I've been taught, the best place to put any and all opposing views is at the end of an essay.
