WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST!!!! [tex]log_{2}[/tex]([tex]x^{2}[/tex]-5x)=[tex]log_{2}[/tex](6x+12)

2 is the base in both logs
[tex]x^{2}[/tex]-5x is the argument in the first log
6x+12 is the argument in second log

FIND THE DOMAIN AND THE SOLUTION TO X

Respuesta :

Ps: just starting on algebra, so might not be right.

Find the domain by finding where the equation is defined.

Interval Notation:

(−2,0)∪(5,∞)

Set-Builder Notation:

{x|−2<x<0,x>5}

Solve for x

For two functions to be equal, the arguments of each must be equal.

x=12,−1

I hope this isn't wrong and if it is, sorry...
