Since the outbreak of the virus, there has been a lot of stigma concerning Asian-Americans. Many believe that because the virus started in Wuhan, China, the Asian-Americans that live in the United States are responsible for the lockdowns and restrictions that we have to endure. Many Asian owned businesses have suffered because of boycott amd protest, and some have even gotten chased down in the streets.
