Explanation:

Perseus is a character in Greek mythology who is popularly known for courageously killing Medusa, a monstrous demon with snakes on her head who turned people to stone when they looked at her. He is also known for killing his grandfather King Acrisius.

Medusa was among three demonic sisters known as Gorgons. They were feared for their looks. She had snakes on her hair and anyone who gazed into her eyes turned to stones.

King Acrisius a twin at birth was always known to be in rivalry with his brother. His desperation made him to send his daughter away because of a prophecy which revealed that he would be killed by his grandson.

King Polydectes was a treacherous man who wanted to have the mother of Perseus to himself. To achieve his evil aim, he sent her son away to fight the evil Medusa. Perseus succeded and lter used Medusa to kill him.  

The traits of the characters given include:

  • Perseus was a great Greek hero. He was the one who killed Medusa. He also saved Andromeda from Cetus, who was the sea monster. He was brave and courageous.

  • Medusa was a monster. Anyone, who looked at Medusa becomes a stone.

  • King Acrisius was the king of Argos. He was the grandfather of Perseus. He was killed by Perseus when mistakenly threw a discus that hit him on the head.

  • King Polydectes wanted to have Perseus's mother to himself. He was a cunning person.
