Francis is the son of Aunt Alexandra, and is Scout and Jems cousin. Francis likes to start problems and get Scout in trouble. He is also described as “boring” by Scout. I would not want to be his friend because of the way he taunts and treats Scout, and because of the awful and rude words he says to describe Atticus.
