Read this excerpt from "The Raven."

While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
"'Tis some visitor," I muttered, "tapping at my chamber door—
Only this and nothing more."

The rhyme of the words "rapping” and "tapping” in this excerpt help create a mood of

annoyance.
chaos.
urgency.
mystery.

Its answer seems to be mystery to me actually. But I'm also confused in annoyance and mystery.

In this excerpt from "The Raven" Edgar Allan Poe uses the rhyme of the words "rapping” and "tapping” to create a persisting and yet unknown sound that keeps disturbing the speaker, he keeps hearing this knocking at his chamber and cannot discover what is producing it, this way is able to create mystery in the scene.
