Answer:

so if there are v boys there will be 3.5v more girls. because the ratio is 2:7

there are 250 more girls than boys ie, v+250( imagining number of boys to be v)

v + 250 = 3.5v

solve, we get v= 100

there are 100 boys in the concert.
