The sun does not provide us with energy but its does give up Vitamin D3.

No, since humans are not photosynthetic organisms, our cells can not produce ATP and glucose (the energy of the cells) to sustain them and ourselves. We get the fuel necessary to produce ATP and provide nutrients for our bodies through the food we eat and the drinks we drink. c:
