The formula for the vapor pressure of the volatile solvent is given as

P = NP°

Using Raoult's law

N is defined to be the mole fraction

Po is the vapor pressure.

From P =  NP°

N = P/P°

N = 18.5/26.5

N = 0.6981

The  mole fraction

1-  0.6981

= 0.3019

The mole fraction of the solute is given as  0.3019
