Linda scored 3 points more than twice Lisa's points on a driver's ed test. Lisa scored p points. Which equation can be used to find Linda's points, m?

3+(2)p=m I believe because Lisa's is p and Linda's is twice Lisa's with three added on.
m =  p x 2 + 3
