It is the lowest body of the water on the surface of the earth.The lake was 1300 feet on the earth surface in mid 20th century. and in the mid of 2010  its level has reached about 430 meter below the sea level . Dead sea receives water from Jordan river so it has no tides in it.it flows from north in to the lake.The water in the dead sea is is extremely saline water.no life can sustain in this water.only bacteria can sustain in salt lake. Dissolved oxygen is the level of free oxygen present in the water .the levels of too high or too cold can harm the aquatic and affect water quality.
