Without looking, Santiago took a handful of multi-colored candies from a bag and found that 20% of the candies were yellow and 15% were green. Suppose there were 480 candies in the bag. Based on Santiago's results, how many more yellow candies would you expect there to be than green candies?

Respuesta :

There are 24 more yellow candies than green. 480 x .20 = 96, while 480 x .15 = 72. 96-72 = 24
I came up with 8 yellow and 6 green so therefore the answer is two more yellow candies were expected
