Respuesta :

b2-4ac tells you whether a quadratic can be factored. If you get a perfect square number then the quadratic can be factored. If you don't then the quadratic cannot be factored. b2 - 4ac = 6 squared - 4(4)(2)= 36-32 = 4 which is a perfect square so 4x2+6x+2 can be factored.
