According to the Florida implied consent law, if any vehicle operator is lawfully arrested by an officer for a DUI (a test that is performed to know if an individual is driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs), and the person refused to be tested, his license will be suspended for one year. For his second refusal, or subsequent refusal, his license will be suspended for 18 months.
