Choose the linear inequality that describes the graph. The gray area represents the shaded region.

A: 3x – 7y < –21

B: 3x + 7y < –21

C: 3x – 7y < 21

D: 3x – 7y > –21

Choose the linear inequality that describes the graph The gray area represents the shaded region A 3x 7y lt 21 B 3x 7y lt 21 C 3x 7y lt 21 D 3x 7y gt 21 class=

Respuesta :

I think the correct answer is c
y intercept is at y = 3. Slope =  ?  Its hard to work out the slope. Ill have to say 3/7
So slope intercept form of the line is
y = 3/7x + 3

7y = 3x + 21

3x - 7y = -21

AS the shading is above the line and line is dotted the inequality sign is >

So the answer is  D
