The relation between voltage, current and resistance can be describes using Ohm's law where:
Voltage = Current * Resistance

We are given that:
voltage = 110 volt
current = 2 ampere

Substitute with the givens in the above equation to get the resistance as follows:
Voltage = Current * Resistance
110 = 2*Resistance
Resistance = 110 / 2 = 55 Ω
