In my opinion it would be cloning. Cloning has been in great debate in genetics engineering since it impose great threat to the privacy of a person. Cloning someone means you have to share identity with someone. The right to have privacy is then violated because of this.

The most controversial technique of genetic engineering is: Cloning With cloning, we could basically create another life form by simply using a single cell. The controversy mostly came from religious groups that see this as an 'act to play God' and deemed it as immoral.
