A good baseball pitcher can throw a baseball toward home plate at 85 mi/h with a spin of 1800 rev/min. how many revolutions does the baseball make on its way to home plate? for simplicity, assume that the 60 ft path is a straight line

Wow !  I was hoping the content of this one was incomplete,
so that I could report it and move on.  But nope !  It's all here.
That means I must answer it.  I can't help myself.  It's in my DNA.

--> Speed = (85 mile/hr) x (5280 ft/mile) x (1 hr / 60 min) = 7,480 feet/minute

--> Time = (60 feet) / (7,480 feet/minute) = 8.0214 x 10⁻³ minute

--> Spins = (1800 rev/minute) x (8.0214 x 10⁻³ minute) = 14.44 revs
